Liam cracks us up everyday, and he learns something new everyday, too. He has developed preferences, such as choosing which socks to wear (often different colors) or feeling the need to wear his bike helmet around the house. He also has an incredible ear for music, and can pick out the sound of a guitar in a song (by strumming his chest), or saying "Mimi" when he hears a piano (b/c Grammie has a piano at her house). And last month, when I noticed him wiping his nose w/ his hand and asked if he needed a tissue (expecting to get it, wipe, and dispose of it myself), he walked to the tissue box, wiped his own nose, then walked to the garbage and threw it out himself! I was shocked (and felt quite superfluous). He makes a great lightening noise, complete with arm motions (think of Spiderman casting a web) that he learned from Grandpa, and just today, he started saying "why" to everything- great.
