Like cranberries in MA, johnnycakes are a RI tradition. And although I've enjoyed coffee milk and Del's Lemonade, I had never tried one. So once I became aware of an entire FESTIVAL centered around them, I knew we had to go. Luckily, it coincided with our wedding anniversary, so daddy took the day off to join us on a perfect fall day!
