Well, Liam's been "inching" his way slowly "one step at a time" toward crawling for many weeks now. It's been interesting and amusing watching him break down the process and master each skill one at a time. Kinda how mommy would approach it. First, raise body on upper arms, then raise on arms and knees, then rock back and forth, then move backwards, then move one leg forward, then well, you get the idea. He's made a few faceplant lunges into the blanket, but today was the first day he, however briefly, mastered the coordination and rhythm necessary to "crawl". All the clips in this video were made today, but you can see the improvement already. Also, he's gone from saying "mum-mum-mum-mum" to "momma", and seems to only address me by it, so we're gonna go ahead and call it his first word!
