Liam and I went to watch a performance of the Lipizzaner Stallions recently. These beautiful horses are a rare bloodline preserved from Austria where they were used in battle. They are capable of incredible aerial displays of strength and balance that basically "kicked the crap" out of their enemies. Now, we watch them in awe. I remember seeing them when I was a child. Liam thought they were fabulous, from a distance. He squealed with joy when they rode by. Up close, however, he didn't enjoy their whiskers tickling his face as much as I did! We went with his little friend Josie. She and the boy go way back... to April when they were in Itsy Bitsy Yoga together. Here's a montage of their adventures together:
