Hurricane (Tropical Storm) Irene

WJR's first hurricane. Not surprisingly, he remained unperturbed. But after preparing for the worst, mommy and daddy hunkered down for the big event. The highest winds in our town (82mph) came throughout the day, and we lost our electricity by 9 AM. We were extremely lucky that there was no major damage to our property from the high winds, and no flooding to boot! We ventured outside in the evening to locate the sources of all the loud cracks and thuds we had heard all day, and took these photos and video. After only 39hrs, we miraculously had our power restored! How are you all faring?
