August Adventures

Summertime is fun. So many activities and so much socializing. It's nice to shake up the usual day-to-day with some new adventures, even if it does cause a little temporary unrest here or there... Earlier this month we were treated to a visit from my relatives from New Jersey ("Jeuoy....zee"), and once we got past the language barrier, had a great time watching a polo match. Grandpa made the trek over the bridge, too, and we got a few wonderful photos. The horses weren't as close as when we saw the Stallions, so Liam was more interested in the baby girl next to us and whatever anyone else was eating.
If you look closely you can see a horse in the background

I've never been so thankful for a little rain. Because of it, Daddy got a day off last weekend and we celebrated by taking Liam to our favorite breakfast restaurant on the water. It was actually his first time in any restaurant!! He was amazing. All the women loved him and asked me if I knew how lucky I was to have such a well-mannered, contented baby. He just gnawed on his toys and watched the action, which there was plenty of.
Mike actually has no idea what he's looking at- he's just posing to match Liam
Daddy kisses

Notice the cheeks

Same thing- I'm just posing for a good effect

And last but not least, we returned to Itsy Bitsy Yoga and found a whole new crop of ladies... one only 4 weeks and the other 13 weeks. They were mightily impressed with Liam's balance and stamina in the postures ;)

Julia's so impressed she couldn't keep her eyes open. The baby on the left is actually just a doll- that's not a yoga pose!

  1. The picture with Mike posing like Liam....Todd did the same thing with Harper. No idea what she was looking at...and we couldn't get her to look at the camera...so he just 'matched' what she was doing! haha...these Daddy's are too funny!

    OH...and 'those cheeks' Hilarious!!!
